Fungi - Hydnellum Peckii???
This fungi was growing beneath deciduous woodland on the peninsular known as "Humphrey Head Point" alongside Morecambe Bay South Cumbria. The closest image that I have been able to find is Hydnellum Peckii but as you can see there is only a passing resemblance. Anyone able to name this fungi for me? Thanks in advance.

yep I agree with Nick there. Welcome to WAB. Humphrey head is a very nice place. It has a load of rare plants there. Spiked speedwell, goldilocks aster, bloody cranesbill.

there was also boletus luridus as well
