| | | Re: Weird Bell Shaped Gilled Fungus I think I got a bit confused there. I was talking about exidia glandulosa which in my local park is a spherical shape but has a hole in it. like the top fungus. It obviously isn't that because it has gills. I was just describing the resemblance.  |

What I think Nick is trying to say, as politely as possible, is that you have enough experience now to use the references at your disposal in order to prevent you littering the threads with unnecessary confusing contradictions. Whilst on this subject I assume when referring to BMC you mean the Checklist of the British & Irish Basidiomycota?
