| | | What type of fungus is this? I found this fungus growing on a small splinter of wood. It was about 10cms tall, and the pictures below illustrate it from several angles.
Any ideas on what it might be would be greatly appreciated. |

| | | Re: What type of fungus is this? hi possibly one of the 'honey fungus' species . . . not much of a ring zone so maybe Armillaria cepistipes or one of its allies
but it's getting late in the season and atypical fruit-bodies are being produced
