| | | Re: Fungi on log piles..ID please.. They all appear to be the same species, which is Flammulina velutipes. Common on wood, particularly in this chilly part of the year. A delicacy in parts of Asia.

| | | Re: Fungi on log piles..ID please.. Actually, just noticed the last species is different- it's Kuehneromyces mutabilis- sort of a two tone effect on the cap. Another common wood fungus at this time of year
1-4 and 6-7 are F. velutipes as first told.
5 and 8 are K. mutabilis.
