quote from a paper entitled Developments in the taxonomy of anamorphic fungi published in 1990
"Within a closely related group of holomorphs, a number of species produce what might superficially be considered synnemata. However, anatomical studies reveal that in Tubercularia vulgaris Tode : Fr. ( Fig. 2 b), the stipitate conidiomata are entirely composed of textura angularis and hence can be considered sporodochia."
