| | | Light Brown Fungi at Storeton's Pits Nr Northampton Hello
I came across this Fungi about a month ago at Storeton's Pits near Northampton and i wonder if somebody could ID it please,
I know next to Nothing on the subject of Fungi at the moment so any help would be greatly appreciated

| | | Re: Light Brown Fungi at Storeton's Pits Nr Northampton I would agree with John. The colour and gills are wrong for Clitocybe metachroa. It is much more likely to be Mycena pura/rosea.

This Fungi was found growing in woodland by the side of the Lake, straight out of the ground, and was approx 3 - 4 inch's in diameter, the Gills were all white and athe upper sufaces wee indeed a light tan colour
