| | | ID required please (fungi on lawn) New here and Kayleigh has kindly just suggested I repeat an earlier post with a different title to flag up that ID is required. Forgive me for repeating (as I say I'm new!)
Please can someone tell me what this fungi is? It has grown in our back lawn in Leics and has obviously 'gone over'. I think my little Jack Russell pup grabbed a bit (size of a 10p piece) before I could stop her. I've cleared the remaining bits away. I've taken images from the side and above. Thanks |

| | | Re: ID required please (fungi on lawn) Hi Neil Welcome to WAB,
I think your fungi is too far gone to give an accurate identification. There are very few attributes shown that would allocate this to a certain genus, let alone species. Hopefully another WAB member might have a little more to say but I'm afraid I have absolutely no clue mate
Nick
P.S - I'm sure your dog will be fine. It's amazing how animals are so resistant to toxins that are fatal to humans (by no means suggesting that your specimen contains such toxins!). |

Thanks | unless the pups showing any signs of being sick etc, i would not worry about it, he probably spat it out unseen by you ,as it would not have been very palatable ,even to a pup
