| | Unknown Orange Fungus I came across several patches of this fungus on a recently felled dead trunk of Monkey Puzzle Aruacaria, and am at a loss as to what it might be.
The image might be a bit lurid as taken with flash:

that substrate, certainly interesting.

| | | Re: Unknown Orange Fungus Thanks guys: suspected it would be fairly common. Fooled by looking in Jordan where he shows a rather dull brown specimen.
There were some rather manky gilled fungi with a lateral stipe as well: would Oyster Rollrim Tapinella panuoides be a likely candidate?
I'll go back and try to take some photos in natural light.
