| | | Re: Possible Clitocybe im going for either Clitocybe harmajae
you find these in coniferous woodland whereas C.fragrans grows in broad-leaved woods
or.... C.metachroa which looks more like it but grows in broad-leaved woods...
but as KT says, Clitocybes are very confusing!

but as KT says, Clitocybes are very confusing! | BMS Fungal Records Database says of C. harmajae:
Not authentically British. A species of high montane and boreal habitat, reported from England and the Republic of Ireland from lowland deciduous woodland and unsubstantiated with voucher material.
as has been said Clitocybes are confusing
cheers

| | | Re: Possible Clitocybe Thanks everyone. So are we saying it probably is Clitocybe sp. or, (he says optimistically), it definitely is.
Cheers

| | | Re: Possible Clitocybe We could never be definite, but I'd be about 99% sure that this is Clitocybe or a genus closely related/formerly known as. With the the decurrency of gills here, I can't think what else it might be! | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
