| | coprinus and trametes? These two were on seperate walks, this one is such a pretty parasol, single, on rough meadow. In a previous query, could it be coprinus patouillardi?
this one was trooping up a small twig (poss hawthorn, elder, sycamore or beech), and is tiny and hairy- first thought stereum hirsutum, but its wrong for colour and size I think - could it be a trametes, maybe hirsuta? Each body is only about half an inch big (or small).
Thanks
Ken

| | | Re: coprinus and trametes? I think I have seen the trametes sp. in a past thread and caused a bit of aggravation by suggesting bjerkandera adusta.
Could it be auricula mesenterica |

yes - plicatilis is better JP, certainly - no dung/mould substrate etc about - it was just that Jordans pic was SOOOO like Patouillardi!
But I suspect you are spot on.
Aggravation KT, surely not!
Its not B. Adusta, but your suggestion is good as mesenterica is described as hairy too - if this specimen was dry in spite of the wet weather, it didnt look totally right, but it just could be.
We may just get some more opinions!
Thanks
Ken
