| | | Grassland fungus id please Hi all,
Found these little beauties in some neutral grassland on sandy based soils.
Cap is 2cm across. Slightly umbonate when young, becoming flatter and slightly centrally depressed when older. I had it down to something like an Omphalina or similar
Any idea at all?
Cheers,
Adam |

spot on J.P. - in the past these would probably have been called H. nivea, but the two species are (rightly IMO) now considered to be the same thing and virginea is the correct name to use
best
