I'm only mildly interested in fungi and forget that some species are sought after for picking, rather than observing and recording.
I made my original statement because I feel that the young members of WAB need support and encouragement. When I was young I didn't have anyone to guide me, but would have loved and benefited from guidance and mentoring.

It is unfortunate that such seriousness lies in all of the fun, but it gets extremely competitive!
