Unknown bracket

I had a reasonable day in the sunshine today with seven Mycena so far and one or two I was going to put on the Unknown file. With the help of the advice given by Chris I identified Stropharia caerulea. A white Leotia lubrica again with help from a previous post turned out to be Cudoniella acicularis but this one

I am not sure about. Although it was on the underside of a broad leaved tree it was just starting to put out a small bracket at the top left of the picture.
Thoughts anyone

If only i could say with certainty, maybe antrodia, i find them so difficult to
find anything conclusive under the scope.



This is my head scratcher of the day, there was a lot of it on a fallen alder branch.

yes that top left might be a clue . . . it looks rather like Datronia mollis

. . . just a thought . . .
