No1 Growing on wood and if you look at the gills you will see the inter-veining consistent with Mycena galericulata. The cap has dried out a bit but it still looks like that to me.

| | | Re: Sussex/Surrey fungi Hi Morchella,
The one you suspect to be Entoloma looks more likely to be a Collybia- possibly C. butyracea.
The last is one of the turquoise Stropharia- Either S. aeruginosa or S. caerulea- more likely to be the latter due to the lack of white fibrillous remnants and ring remains, which often macroscopically separates the species. |

| | | Re: Sussex/Surrey fungi Thanks Mal and Nick. Nick, do you mean the middle one when you mentioned Collybia or the top one that I thought was Entoloma? The middle one does look like a Collybia though smaller than the ones I've seen before.

| | | Re: Sussex/Surrey fungi We were walking just north of Singleton. To be honest not as many fungi about as I'd hoped. We did see an oil well though, complete with nodding donkeys, which was a bit bizarre in the middle of a wood.
