| | | Couple of Fungi finds of My Day.. Found these two around my park this morning..
My first specimen was found growing on a group of logs...
This second specimen was growing under trees of pine and young Beech..
Help with a possible ID would be appreciated..
Many thanx
Julie

the jelly fungus is probably either an Exidia or (possibly)Stypella species
if there were central white crystalline inclusions visible in the fruitbodies then it's possible to say Exidia nucleata (Myxarium nucleatum of older books) but I can't see anything
the agaric looks a little like Hypholoma marginatum which in my experience is generally found (sometimes in thousands) on conifer litter/chips; not sure about the stem though . . .
best
Chris
