Hi Nick
Well for me, it's not fairing too well really. Its been a funny old year again and things I was after finding have already been and gone end of September time so I completely missed them. These naughty fungi, I'm going to have to give them a good talking to I think.
How's your season going?

PS You were right by the way, I did find a few more parasol mushrooms in the same field as the last ones so that was good. That was beginning of Oct. I think. Saw some old ones in the same field again on Sunday.

The closest i have mangaged so far is Crocicreas cyathoideum.




Asci X1000


Spores X1000

They were certainly a challenge to microscope and the results are not to bad
(do check bioimages for comparison).
