| | | Can anyone help identify these fungi? These fungi were all found in the Queen Elizabeth country park in Hampshire, with the exception of 'fungi city' which was in a field, adjacent to a wood, in Hambledon.
Can anyone help identify them for me please? I've searched every site I can find on the internet and looked all through the reference books I own and can't find a definitive identification for any of them!

I think that your first is an Agaricus species, but without much more information, we'll not be able to knock that one down to a specific species. Did it bruise when cut? Did it smell? All important with this species!
Your third is Armillaria, probably A. mellea.
I'm not very sharp on the little brackets But rest assured that someone will have a pop when they can.

| | | Re: Can anyone help identify these fungi? Thanks Nick. I didn't disturb any of these, just took the photo and walked on, so I don't have any more information such as smell, bruising etc. |

Lets hope I can nail down the others. I post my photographs on Flickr and it's important to me to get the names correct, aside from which I seem to have an affinity for fungi and I'd like to improve my knowledge if I can. I'm guessing it will take a while, but ultimately, I'd like to be able to walk through the woods and with a degree of certainty, identify these little guys!
