along next to it was this.

Hygrocybe conica starts out red and then goes black. At which stage does it go brown like your find  What makes you feel it might be conica? have you a book showing something similar?
Having said that although it is not a waxcap I don't know what it is

I'm thinking Tricholoma for the second. Was it growing near Birch KT? |
