Cortinarius Sp. ?

Found very colourful young and mature specimens growing under Pine and Birch ..
Largest cap was 6-7cms across..

Appreciate help with an ID..

Check out your references for Stropharia aurantiaca - I know the ring wasn't apparent on those we found but Jordan says "....fragile ....ephemeral..." Just a guess

Don't think they are corts - stem too 'white' and clean looking? Also think I can see remains of something white around edge of caps? Mmmmm .........

So possibly more indication of S. aurantiaca especially as the park keepers mulch the areas under the trees with bark and sawdust.
