| | green stem and pine fungi probs Hello everyone -today, the local pine woods had lots in there, but some are a bit of a problem - help needed please!
The first two are very tiny, the third is is a green stemmed (?) parchute and the fourth is a bracket on pine.
My guesses are:
lachnellula subtillissima
mitrula paludosa
green stem fungus? chlorophyll in fungi, ha !
pseudotrametes gibbosa? [img]http://www.wildaboutbritain.co.uk/archive/data/77
/thumbs/pseudotrametes_gibbosa.JPG[/img]
Thanks all, there are more ! (another day, you'll need a rest?)
Ken

I think 2 is Calocera pallidospathulata rather than Mitrula.
3 Is Mycena epipterygia
Mal

| | Re: green stem and pine fungi probs Hi Mal,
yes, I see that - the white stem moved me at first, but it was also gelatinous and your crack seems a pretty good call, looking at Jordan, thanks a lot.
So difficult to photograph in a dark wood with macro!
Ken
Brilliant Mal -the mycena is spot on.
Thanks again, super duper.

| | | Re: green stem and pine fungi probs As they appear to be cup (rather than disc)shape with a white underside,
and assuming the substrate is pine then a Lachnellula.sp would be my gess,
but stress gess.

Amen to that!
The fourth now looks to me very much like Postia caesia, right substrate too.
Thanks everyone
Ken
