The pores underneath did that thing where I was able to write my name. So is this ID clinched? |

Unfortunately no.  Australe (which in most areas is much more common) usually has a thicker fruitbody, rather like yours.(you find that is  ) The pores are more ochraceous but also stain brown when bruised so I am afraid without a spore sample no definitive ID is possible.
