Laccaria confusion

Is it possible to form an opinion based on these pics or should I, (without microscopy), stop at Laccaria sp. I think it is one of a possible three and probably L.proxima but I`m not confident at all.

I thought laccarias were quite easy. I would go with laccaria laccarta - the deceiver

The common name should supply KT with a hint to its unpredictability

Laccaria may be easy indeed, but it's the things that they look like that are the pain in the bum . I think Mr. Yates knows his stuff on this genus, so it might be worth giving him a shout!
