| | | Re: Armillaria & various fungi IDs I suspect that Lord J.P might be able to help you on that Peziza- after all, the Ascomycete King has to raise his head and help his noble people at least once an evening
1 is Armillaria, not sure about the rest.
Your second image is Coprinus, possibly an aged clump of Coprinus atramentarius . |

| | | Re: Armillaria & various fungi IDs You must stop saying nice things about me, i have so much to learn.
How about Psathyrella corrugis for No:2.
I would guess at P.repanda, but that could be way off reality under the scope.
Cheers J.P.

| | | Re: Armillaria & various fungi IDs thats actually the reason Chris
I have been searching my Cd archive and came across a load of unnamed mushrooms.
any ideas on the brown one on the separate post. it has had me stumped for AGES and everyone I have asked!
I went back to the bracket today and I think it was turkeytail. I just complicated the photo by using my macro lens |

You should know by now what details are needed Gills gills gills.
The first is Armillaria sp no gills and stipe details no diagnosis
the second could even be a Mycena no gills no diagnosis
The third Trametes has pores Stereum has a smooth fertile surface no photo no diagnosis (but I think it is Stereum hirsutum )
Peziza you have a photo of the fertile surface but I don't have the knowledge
