Why Nasty little devil? I thought it was a beautiful thing. That's why I got the wife to hold it with her gloves on on that bitterly cold day last winter.

| | | Re: Amanita pantherina Both Blusher Stew. The volva (sac) on the first picture was probably still in the ground. If you view the blusher from below you would see the distintive stipe pattern and ring.
