Thanks for the input Brian, I had a look at your "Fence Post Fungus thread". I had to read it twice! How confusing! However; I don`t think mine is the same one. The top surface of mine seems different and yours doesn`t seem to have the lacerate pores (organ pipe effect). I will keep an eye on mine to see if it changes.
