#2 looks like Maze-gill Daedalea quercina - this is where the name Daedaliopsis comes from literally 'looks like Daedalea' - this looks to be on oak

I think the second is clinched by the shot of the pores. In Daedaleopsis confragosa, the pores just appear as a network of circular holes, whereas Daedalea quercina has pores that resemble a maze, which your image shows
Proves how important underside shots are

the photos in Phillips and Jordans were non to clear m'lud - thats my excuse, and i'm sticking with it
