| | | Is this Neobulgaria pura Found this growing on a fallen beech branch, only thing I can get near with is Neobulgaria pura. The whole things was about 5cm across. It doesn't look too much like the illustrations in some of my books but can't see anything else to go for. Is this likely to be correct, if not, what other possibilities are there?
As usual, any help gratefully received.

you can even identify the tree species as beech from all those parallel 'hyphens'
