| | | Confirmation of Stump Puffball - Lycoperdon pyriforme These were growing at the base of an Oak tree. I'm relatively sure they are Stump Puffball - Lycoperdon pyriforme, but just wondering if there is anything similar that I could get it confused with.

Also, cut a (preferably oldish and discoloured) frb. in half; if the sterile base is whitish, contrasting with the darker older gleba, then you have a good differentiating character. |
