Unknown Mushroom For ID Please.

Have Looked in several Books for these ones. Hope someone can help.

Could be a Collybia sp perhaps? But that is a wild guess!!

Looks like you've got a Shaggy Inkcap in the bottom photo though!

The top ones look a bit like Coprinus atramentarius, and the bottom one is Coprinus comatus. Hope this helps. Welcome to WAB, KLB.

Welcome to the forum, it makes a nice change for a newcomer to start with some decent photo's of an unknown fungus for us to ID.

Yours is a Psathyrella species, but this can be a difficult genus, so therefore I can only make a rough guess at P.multipedata.

I do realise that, but 2 Shaggy Inkcaps are shown in the 2 close up photo's along with the smaller Psathyrella species.

I would agree with you Neil, this is Psathyrella multipedata its very hygrophanous, hence the near white colour, it is a rich brown colour when fresh & moist.

I managed to indentify those ones But I knew you were just being helpful, just wanted to state that incase of any confusion to anyone.

Thanks to everyone. I think the Psathyrella multipedata does sound very likely. After reading up on it, It does appear to change colour depending on the conditions.
