| | | Cep & Chanterelle Hi I used to live in middle europe where "steinpilz/herrenpilz and eierschwammerl" CEP and CHANTERELLE were common everyday (obviously seasonal) forage. I now live in the Midlands and either I'm getting too old or I'm going blind because in 5 years I haven't seen either. Does anyone know where I could get spores, I have the perfect land / growing area.
Thanks

| | | Re: Cep & Chanterelle As far as I am aware you can't cultivate Ceps, not sure about Chanterelles but I stand to be corrected! |

| | | Re: Cep & Chanterelle Sorry I have to correct you, you can, I have done, they're not easy but patience pays off. Of course, frustration plays a big part. Took me three years back home in Austria. Deer droppings, larch needles, peat and chalk are useful, Blaubeeren too (blaeberry?)
tcvarlh is male, human (after 9:30 am) and thanks for the name drop

| | | Re: Cep & Chanterelle From Billa ! fresh or dried? Now you know why I'm looking for them all over this area. I reckon the Japanese can keep their Shitake. they aren't bad but not a patch on REAL 'shrooms | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
