Hi I used to live in middle europe where "steinpilz/herrenpilz and eierschwammerl" CEP and CHANTERELLE were common everyday (obviously seasonal) forage. I now live in the Midlands and either I'm getting too old or I'm going blind because in 5 years I haven't seen either. Does anyone know where I could get spores, I have the perfect land / growing area.

As far as I am aware you can't cultivate Ceps, not sure about Chanterelles but I stand to be corrected! |

Nick Cantle has the biggest Cep & Chanterelle spore bank in the UK.
Go on Nick, let him/her or whatever a tevarlh is, have a couple of spores, don't be so tight !!

Sorry I have to correct you, you can, I have done, they're not easy but patience pays off. Of course, frustration plays a big part. Took me three years back home in Austria. Deer droppings, larch needles, peat and chalk are useful, Blaubeeren too (blaeberry?)
