| | | My babies! Got an Oyster growing kit from my colleagues for my birthday and at last some little ones are starting to grow
Seem to be growing quite quickly - I foresee a feast by next weekend. |

| | | Re: My babies! They look nothing like Oyster shrooms Morchella, more like a Clitocybe sp.

| | | Re: My babies! Here are some more pics:
The box says they are Oesterzwammen which I was taking to be Oyster mushrooms in Flemish/Dutch. Gills do look like oysters to me esp. now they're a bit bigger |

| | | Re: My babies! These are Clitocybe dealbata no, not really - just winding you up.
Oyster fungi would normally be growing from the side of a trunk or branch in nature, which is why it grows lop sided and in in tiers.
The ones in the photo have no choice but to grow as individuals and vertical, which is why they have taken on this form.

| | | Re: My babies! Excellent deduction there from Neil
Although how you can look forward to eating "your babies" beats me!
Enjoy the feast, I am sure you will. (And you are fortunate to have colleagues who buy the sort of pressies you are happy to receive! )
