this black stuff on the cap are the spores from a mushroom that was above it....

Would it by any chance be native to the central european forests, such as the Black Forest and others??

Thanks for your help neil

To be honest i couldn't find much info on this fungi. When it comes to wood chips i do enjoy trying to figure out were in the world they originated For instance:

Psilocybe Cyanescens/ Pluteus atromarginatus = Pacific North West

Psathyrella conopilus (with on occasion P.Cyanescens) = Central Europe

Stropharia aurantiaca = Australia

There are chips that also have galerinas & gymnopilus but these are not so easy to narrow down
