Can someone confirm this as Pleurotus dryinus please. It was growing at head height on the trunk of a beech tree.

It looks very much like it to me. Not many finds in N Yorks so a good find. Only two records in S E Yorks

Most certainly is P. dryinus.

Thanks for replies and it was actually founnd in Derbyshire Mal, near Matlock
