and the gills etc. Im thinkin something along the lines of the deceiver but am probably way wrong.

Looks some what similiar to a Galerina - perhaps Galerina marginata.
Was it growing on wood or near to dead wood/ leaves?? |

Not that i was aware of Mr herbalian. but then again i didnt pay much attention to its immediate habitat but thankyou its a reminder of another detail i must note when looking for an ID. Thankyou both for the suggestions.
