Why leaving the wood this morning spotted this fungi on the grass pathway..
Help with an ID would be appreciated..

Look like good old Sulphur Tuft to me, with washed out/ sunbleached caps. Probably there were bits of wood under the grass from which the fungi would have been growing (something to check next time you pass there ) |

Suspect they were growing on a piece of burried timber,
did you dig up a piece and identify it
