Unknown Lepiota Sp.
This one turned up in my local patch and has got me beat.

Growing with Spruce and Pine.
Cap dia.5cm - pale ochre
Stem Ht. 7cm
Stem dia. 6mm
Odour - rather rancid smell.
Clour Change - none

Had considered L.clypeolaria, ignivolvata and ventriosospora as possibilities. Can anyone put an ID to it and put my mind at rest.

With that fluffy stem I would go for [i]L.clypeolaria/I], though as you probably know not a definite without micro examination.

Not one I have met in the flesh as they say, but from the description Shield Dapperling - L.clypeolaria does seem to be the best match.
