Otidea sp?

Found these two on a foray in sunny Milton Keynes at the weekend. I'm happy about the ID of the clavulina, but struggling with the oditea.





The images have come out much less yellow that the actual fruitbody - need some photography lessons

Do they seem to be too squat for onotica? Any opinions welcome!

Hi,

Yes, that is Otidea, if the colour was yellow then most likely O. onotica they are a bit squat but these things do vary.

Thanks Andy - appreciate that. I will try to get some better pictures next time I go there. Perhaps it will have grown a bit by then too?
