Fungus?

I am a little wary about posting this. The previous fungus I posted turned out to be orange filler.

We saw several of these in a small paddock housing some sheep. They were of varying sizes; this one was about 9 inches across. Our initial reaction was that they were some form of fungus. I also wondered if they might be some form of lick for the sheep but they were not there a week ago and the sheep were showing them no interest. There, you see - I'm paranoid

Upturned Giant Puffball isn't it ?

If not, a recently sheared/shawn sheep in a foetal position on it's back.

Thanks - I did have it listed as a puffball but we have never seen anything that size - say no more.
