I have a large patch of these guys on my lawn (clay soil by a privet hedge). Are they Agaricus?

I think everyone is ignoring this thread because the Agaricus (what you have there) species can be tricky.
I may be challenged on this, but I think yours are A. campestris, the Field Mushroom.
