Funny old morning, not a lot about but did find these emerging.
Pseudohydnum gelatinosum.



The underside is quite impressive.

Just noticed there isn't an entry for this in the AtoZ so i better try for a decent
photo as they develope.

Brilliant discovery J.P. I remember a group of these in my Alice Holt patch- Which we may have to revisit soon.

On a different dead/fallen larch tree.



Another shot attempting to capture the increadible look, almost see through.
a good photogapher could have captured it better i'm sure.



Like so many fungi, variable, this is a bit further along the same trunk, still gelatinous
and with spines.
