| | Would you agree with my ID of these species? As a newcomer to fungi I thought it would be good for me to get confirmation (or otherwise!) on my IDing of these species. Let me know where i'm going wrong if you don't mind!
I should say, I forgot my camera so made do with the phone one. Not ideal I know - sorry!
Sulphur Tuft?:
Deadmans Fingers?:
Candlesnuff?:
Fly Agaric?:
Beefsteak Fungus?:
Panther Cap (half of!)?:
Purple Brittlegill?:
Penny Bun / Cep?:
Pedicle Puffball?:
I'm going to get aquainted with latin names soon as well! I've got some that I can't ID so might post them up later. Thanks for having a look, all help very much appreciated. |

The amanita looks more like Amanita excelsa.

Thanks for helping with the ID, I can see I'm going to learn a lot faster with the help of the good folk here. |

| | | Re: Would you agree with my ID of these species? I saw plenty that I haven't got an ID for yet, I accept that I'm not showing the best details with the photography but any pointers to assist me with my book-fumbling would be very useful. (All species found in pine, birch and sweet chestnut woodland in Berkshire)
1 (growing out of very dead stump):
2 (possibly Tawny grisette?):
3:
4 (Possibly birch bolete?)
5 (this had gills):
6:
7 (birch polypore?):
8: (not smaller specimin to left showin top of cap):
9 (Trametes versicolor?):
10 (only a couple of inches across, baby cauliflower fungus?):
11 (probably not enough detail to tell, but I liked it!)
There's quite alot there, sorry if its too vague to comment on. Thanks in advance to anyone kind enough to help. My next trip will include field guides, proper camera and measuring equipment! |

Couldn't see the "edit" button for some reason. |
