I can happily report that since the start of July when we had some rainfall, I have seen possibly a dozen Amanita strobiliformis, always on the same stretch of heathland, sometimes a little further out. They are bigger than the specimens that I have found in previous seasons.
Dead chuffed that they're back- a 'shroom that I'll always have alot of 'respect' for.
Hell, who knows, might even take a piccie soon. |
