| | | Re: Chanterelles or False Chanterelles??? How u can store Chanterelles:
Take lard, melt it. Take Chanterelles, onion, fry it, put fried mushrooms and onion in to the glass jar or something like, fill it with melted lard. You can store chanterelles more than year in this condition! It's very delicious! |

Yoy don't need to eat this lard! Just take portion, melt it again, take mushrooms out and use mushrooms, not lard!!! |

| | | Re: Chanterelles or False Chanterelles??? Well it sounds like you guys are doing alright on the chanterelle front. Poor old me hasn't been able to get out looking recently, boo hoo. Did have a dream though last night about finding what I thought was chanterelle but which turned out to be something else like false chanterelle.
Hey Nick I bought a dehydrator a couple of years ago off QVC for a very good price (approx £35) but I've searched their website this morning and got no results.
I've just spent the last 20 minutes searching the internet and found this one from Westfalia UK for £25.99 Food Dehydrator from Westfalia at our Kitchen inside the Household shop. This is quite small though with only 28cm diameter. Mine is about 33cm diameter and had 7 trays, this only has 5. Anyway its worth shopping around on the net to find the best deal. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
