I did read in a book that people can mistake the Fly Agaric and the Panther Cap with each other when it has rained or when the Fly Agaric is old because it can go a yellow brown.

| | | Re: New forest Yes, I am, but I am talking about both as they seem to be both growing there, but I am not 100% on the Panther Cap. The woodland they are growing in is famous for them, and I can see why, where ever you look they are there. Lots of the Fly Agaric's are red without spots because of the rain, and it looks like rabbits have got to many of them. Some rabbits will be launched into space in that wood.
