Need help with white/tan coloured mushroom

Hmm, this is a bit trickier I think, though someone may well come along and ID it easy peasy!

The colour reminds me of something along the lines of a young Collybia maculata, but I've never seen them structured so 'lanky'. C. maculata are usually quite stocky instead of so tall. These had quite a pleasant aroma, but nothing distinctive about it.



About 150mm tall, caps about 40mm. The gills were white, but I didn't get a photo because I was in a rush (as you can see by the photograph, LOL)

C. Maculata is a possible, maybe Hygrophorus mesotephrus, Ashen Woodwax? Although cant tell whether there is a waxy shine from the pic - also looks like its in coniferous wood which would maybe be more spotted tough shank? But dont know this one - just trying to help! Interesting to see any positive ID.
