| | Three Mushroom ID (one was under a wall!) 1) Is this southern bracket? ganoderma applanatum?
2) I found this under a sapling poplar tree. The stem has lots of bumps on it.
3) I found this fellow growing in the soil at the bottom of a wall. What is it?
It was quite big - not a tiny thing!
4) There was a small orange mushroom that had a fleshy ring around the stem. It was like a hypholoma elongatum but not as elongated. It was growing in a mossy area where there used to be a playground but was taken down years ago. Any ideas? |

Hi !
The first is a Ganoderma but immature (no pores) hence indeterminate - if it's going to be anything it'll be G. australe and not G. applanatum by the look of it !
The bolete (if associated with Populus) should be Leccinum duriusculum but doesn't look right for that species - too pink !
The one in the wall - no idea I'm afraid, can't see any relevant features such as gills etc.
