Hello
A couple of years ago my husband was at a local fishing lake and he saw a fly agaric. He wants to take me to show me as I have never seen one (although I think it is a sneaky attempt to get me interested in going fishing with him lol) and I was wondering at the likelihood of it appearing in the same place again?

My experience here in northeast Hampshire is that where mixed birch and conifer woods exist it is very likely though abundance varies from year to year - 2006 was extraordinary, which spurred my original interest in the subject, whereas last year was quite sparse. Good luck whatever the objectives

I have a spot which never fails to produce immaculate specimens- trouble is, I always reach them about 2 days too late, though I've had some beautiful ones |

Im still looking for my first fly agaric..been to many different woodlands with no such luck...

I don't often give tips, but here's one you may find useful:
Break up a Fly Agaric into a saucer full of milk and preferably leave in a wood.
This should attract lot's of flies.
Where you have lot's of flies, Fly Agaric are bound to be..
