Unidentified funnel

Not entirely sure what genus this belongs to. The obvious ones are Clitocybe and Lepista, but I can't really narrow down due to inexperience with both of these genuses.

Growing within 20 feet of both Quercus and Betula. Amanita rubescens and Russula cyanoxantha present in the area. The plant that they're growing against is Bracken.

No distinctive smell. I didn't taste them

(Rough size) Cap diameter - 40mm. Stem length - 50mm

It's a Clitocybe Nick - but which is impossible to say since they are notoriously difficult to name even from fresh material.

At a guess, Clitocybe brumalis (from the colour of the lamellae) but even then the slight scaling on the cap would be atypical ! And that species is usually found much later in the year (or even in later winter !)
