| | | Another unknown fungus Yet another one that I have not seen before in my garden. They were growing under oak trees and the cap is rather shiny like a metallic colour.
This one has a cap of about 3.5cms and is 6 cm high.
Any suggestions?

You have a species of Inocybe here !
The radially fibrillose, sightly splitting pileus, combined with the clay coloured, pallid edged lamellae and the slightly fibrillose, lined stipe flaring to a slight bulb at the base, point towards that
Which species is another matter since this is (yet another) difficult genus that can only be determined microscopically.

David, they were growing in grass under the oak trees, not on wood.
