Unidentified Fungal Objects from Morgaston Wood

Hoped these two might be recognizable from photos:

and possibly P. cervinus tho' it was very dark grey (taken with and without fill flash)

Re: Unidentified Fungal Objects from Morgaston Wood

I'm still unsure about what i thought was some Psathyrella.sp, until i looked at the spores.

X1000

They are certainly warty though that isn't to clear in the image.
Would anyone agree/disagree with Lacrymaria lacrymabunda.

Cheers J.P.

I think we can also add Boletus cisalpinus syn. Xerocomus cisalpinus to the growing list of finds for the day JP, showing particularly red caps and a strong blueing reaction:

Looks good to me with all that blueing. Did you try the new key? Handy tip from Alan Hills is that B. ripariellus is usually in damp areas with willow and alder while B. cisalpinus is in drier woodland areas with oak.

I blame it on the gall stones -hard time concentrating. It's taken since early June but after yesterday's appointment with the surgeon at least I am now officially on the waiting list for surgery

Re: Unidentified Fungal Objects from Morgaston Wood

You haven't given us many clues.

The Pluteus may well be P. cervinus. The first sort of looks Tubariaish but there just isn't enough information for me to place it.
